CITIES WHERE THE TRAIN GOES TO



VIANA

Viana, which is part of the Metropolitan Region of Vitoria is being discovered by tourists as a great option for those who want  peaceful moments during their leisure time. The municipality is a part of the Sea and Mountains Route, together with Vitória, Domingos Martins, Marechal Floriano and Venda Nova do Imigrante. It became the gateway to the mountain region and offers visitors entertainment options, such as trails, hang gliding, paragliding, ecocultural hiking, craft fair, and other attractions.

 


DOMINGOS MARTINS

Domingos Martins is only 42 km far from Vitoria, capital of Espírito Santos. It delights tourists for its natural beauty, exuberant landscapes, typical food and its welcoming people, making the city a place where people feel comfortable. The city today is known nationally and internationally and receives a large number of tourists during the year, especially in winter, when the city is even more charming, what made this city to be considered the most romantic city in Brazil. Also, for those who enjoy excitement and adrenaline, extreme sports options and ecotourism are present in Domingos Martins. The city exuberant nature offers the visitor the practice of different types of sport.


MARECHAL FLORIANO

It is Known as the "City of Orchids" and is located in the region of Capixabas’ Mountains, the place is special because it has a pleasant climate, beautiful waterfalls, landscapes and gastronomy with typical dishes of Italian and German cuisine. Visitors have the option to see the charm of the old houses and the old railroad stations and all the attractions bring the bucolic air of  the interior, where the Jucu Braço Sul river mender near the highway. Surrounded by vegetation characteristic of the Atlantic Forest, there tourists can admire tree species of great beauty and also the fauna of the region, which presents a rich biodiversity.

 

ARAGUAYA

The District of Araguaia belongs to Marechal Floriano, which has approximately 2,500 inhabitants, but in the village, the population is approximately of 700 people. It has a rich history, because of the Italian immigrants, including those who settled in the municipality of Venda Nova do Imigrante. The immigrants came through the port of Reritiba Village, today called Anchieta, from this place they came up the river in boats through the Benevente River to reach Vila Matilde, District of Alfredo Chaves, which is  25 km from Araguaia and that is why they region was colonized. Among its attractions are a church with over a hundred years, the railroad station, the Cultural Center Ezequiel Ronchi, with a collection of more than 500 pieces telling the history of colonization in the city, handicrafts, agrotourism and others.
